Indicative prices. Rates are excl. VAT, per unit, ex-works our Paris-region depots (transport excluded). They are a starting point: the final price depends on the quantity, the payment terms and, for groups with French sites, the possible buy-back of your damaged pallets. Models not listed here (CP1 to CP9 chemical, VMF, half & quarter pallets, heavy-duty, custom) are quoted on request — reply within 24 hours.
Used pallets for sale: grade 2 prices
Searching for used pallets or second-hand Euro pallets? At DirectPAL, that means EPAL grade 2: reconditioned 800 × 1200 mm Euro pallets, sorted and checked before loading, priced at €11.20 – 13.90 excl. VAT per unit. Grade 2 is the sensible buy wherever the pallet does not need to look new — internal loops, warehouse storage, standard shipments. Keep grade 1 EPAL pallets for fragile goods and automated warehouses, where board condition matters most.
Every batch is homogeneous, and the grade you order is the grade stated in the written offer — no surprises at the dock. Got used pallets of your own? We buy them back — at your French sites only.
How to pay less for your pallets
Our prices are ranges: three levers put you at the bottom of the range:
- Quantity. The larger the volume, the lower the per-unit price. Tell us the number of pallets — we adjust. Transport also gets cheaper per unit on full truckloads.
- Payment terms. Prompt payment earns a discount — you pay less by paying early.
- Regular scheduled volumes. A recurring monthly or quarterly flow is easier for us to plan — and that saving is passed on to you.
Groups operating sites in France have a fourth lever: we buy back damaged or surplus pallets at your French sites, offsetting part of your purchasing cost.
VAT and invoicing for international buyers
VAT: Intra-EU supply: invoice without VAT with your valid EU VAT number (reverse charge, Art. 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC). Deliveries to the United Kingdom or Switzerland are invoiced as exports outside the EU, with the corresponding customs paperwork.
Every offer is a firm written quote in euros: price per pallet excl. VAT, quantities, transport and lead time. The whole process — quote, order, CMR transport documents, invoice — can be handled in English.
Delivery and pickup
📦 Delivery by full truckload from 300 pallets — below that, pickup at one of our 3 depots in the Paris region, France.
Transport is quoted separately and booked per full truckload — an EPAL truckload is typically several hundred pallets, which is what makes the per-unit transport cost reasonable across Europe. See pickup & delivery for how loading works and delivery across Europe for realistic lead times by destination.
Why our prices are competitive
Wholesalers rarely publish their rates; premium suppliers in this market position themselves well above the ranges shown here for equivalent EPAL grades. DirectPAL keeps a lean structure — direct sourcing, 100% French supply chain, recovery and reconditioning in-house — and passes the difference on, without cutting corners on quality: EPAL-compliant grade 1, checked and sorted batches, ISPM 15 heat treatment for export.
Shipping from 3 depots in the Paris region (Pontault-Combault, Chilly-Mazarin, Mitry-Mory) puts us on the main northern-European road corridors — Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and western Germany are typically 1–2 working days from loading.
Frequently asked questions about prices
How much does an EPAL Euro pallet cost?
An EPAL grade 1 Euro pallet is priced between €12.60 and 16.00 excl. VAT per unit at DirectPAL, and grade 2 between €11.20 and 13.90 excl. VAT, ex-works. You reach the lower end of the range with volume and prompt payment.
Does the price depend on the quantity?
Yes. The published figures are per-unit ranges. The larger the volume, the closer you get to the bottom of the range. Prompt payment and regular scheduled volumes also help.
Do the prices include delivery?
No — prices are excl. VAT and ex-works. Transport is quoted separately per full truckload according to the destination. Below 300 pallets, orders are available for pickup at our Paris-region depots. Ask for a quote to get a delivered price.
Do you charge French VAT to EU buyers?
No. With a valid EU VAT number, intra-Community supplies are invoiced without French VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism (Art. 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC). UK and Swiss deliveries are invoiced as exports outside the EU.
Do you buy back used pallets?
Yes — at sites located in France only. If your group operates French production or logistics sites, we buy back used or surplus pallets there against payment or a discount. Buy-back prices are quoted case by case, never published. Pallet buy-back →
Why are CP, VMF and custom pallets not listed?
Their specification and market conditions vary too much for a meaningful published range. Send your enquiry — you get a firm written offer within 24 hours.
